Extreme Weather Disrupts Travel Plans

Unusual weather is making travel harder. Many people now avoid places with hurricanes, heatwaves, or wildfires. More travelers are choosing cooler countries instead.

Flights are also affected. Strong winds and storms are causing more delays and cancellations. This creates problems for passengers and airlines.

Talking points: Have you ever changed travel plans because of the weather? How can travelers prepare for these issues?

AI is Changing Daily Life

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming a regular part of life, shaping the way people work, shop, and watch entertainment.

AI helps online stores suggest products based on past purchases. Streaming services use AI to recommend movies and shows tailored to your preferences, meaning customized to fit what you like.

Talking points: How do you feel about AI influencing your daily choices? Are there times when you prefer human help instead?

Starbucks Simplifies Menu

Starbucks has announced it plans to cut about 30% of its food and drink items by late 2025 to improve service speed and efficiency.

Changes include removing less popular items and focusing on core offerings, which are the main products or services Starbucks provides.

Starbucks will also bring back condiment bars, allowing customers to add their own cream and sugar. Additionally, the company will serve in-store drinks in real mugs and offer free refills on brewed coffee and tea during the same visit.

Talking points: How do you feel about these changes at Starbucks? Will a simpler menu and added perks improve your experience?
